How to Clean & Maintain your Glass Splashbacks

Glass splashbacks are a beautiful addition to any kitchen or bathroom as they are easy to maintain and hygenic. Using the right techniques and materials your glass splashbacks will look beautiful and last for years. Below are some simple care and maintenance guidelines to keeping your glass sparkling for years to come.

1. Use a soft cloth

Glass does scratch and therefore consideration must be given to the type of cloth you use. A lint-free microfibre cloth are great for using on your splashbacks. Allow you to rub without scratching the surface.

2. Use non-abrasive cleaning products.

Hot soapy water is a great option for cleaning your glass. Glass Cleaners or methyulated spirits are also good options. What is important is that you do not use any abrasive cleaners as they may cause light surface scratches. White Vinegar (diluted with water) is an old fashioned but tried and tested method of removing streaks from glass.

3. Clean your splashback regularly.

The best way to keep your glass splashback clean is to clean it regularly. Wipe stains off as they happen and every 2 weeks or so, thoroughly clean your splashback.
